CISCE Regional Karate Competition 2023 was held at P. B. Academic School, Tollygunge, Kolkata on 22 & 23 June, 2023. Technical assistance was provided by Karate-Do Association of Bengal.
5 Asian Karate Federation (AKF) & 20 Karate India Organisation (KIO) Referee & Judges conducted the said even, where 369 players competed in 69 categories.
Hanshi Premjit Sen (President of KAB) & Hanshi Joydeb Mondal (General Secretary of KAB) graced the Inauguration Ceremony of the event as Special Guests along with various other dignitaries.
Ishani Gupta of Purba Bardhaman District (Bardhaman Karate-Do Association) played here & won Gold in U14 yrs 42-46 kg Female Kumite group. She is selected for the upcoming CISCE National Karate Tournament.
Renshi Debasis Kumar Mondal (KAB RC Member, AKF Judge & BKA General Secretary) was also appointed as a Tatami Manager.
