We are delighted to launch the BKA Purba Bardhaman District Karate Ranking from this year 2022. To encourage the District karatekas, BKA has taken this initiative. Bardhaman Karate-Do Association is the first Official District karate association in west bengal to create and to implement this new ranking rules.

BKA reveals "Purba Bardhaman District Karate Championships" Logo

The General Competition Logo for the Official, Recognised & Authentic Karate Tournaments in Purba Bardhaman District i.e. "Purba Bardhaman District Karate Championships" events is designed on the basis of the general principle of taking the first letter (PBDKC) from the english name of the competition & arrange them in a new and innovative way. This is something that has never been done before in the field of District Karate which represents a new artistic approach in District arena.

Here, each letter is artistically arranged as a karate cartoon image.
Hand Gloves are considered to be P & B. D is regarded as the Head. K is defined as the Hand, Midbody, and Leg. Belt is regarded as C.
The karate iconic logo looks like it's kicking.
A Purba Bardhaman District Map has been placed behind the icon. Cream and Rainbow colours were used to colour the Purba Bardhaman District Map and the Karate Icon, respectively.

The competition's name is written on the final logo in a variety of fonts and colours (Black & Red). Red is used to colour the word "KARATE".

This logo was primarily created on June 2, 2020, and it is finally released on January 24, 2023.

Ishani wins Silver : First Purba Bardhaman National Medalist in Karate

Ishani wins Silver & becomes the First Purba Bardhaman National Medalist in Karate

All India Sub Junior Karate Championship was held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on 3rd & 4th December, 2022. It was organised by Karate India Organisation (KIO) - the Governing Body for Karate in India (Affiliated to World Karate Federation). 

Ishani Gupta won Silver in 12 yrs -40 kg Female Kumite. She represented West Bengal State Karate Team in the All India Sub Junior National Karate Championship.

 KAB sponsored West Bengal State Karate Team for KIO National Championship : Dhrubajit & Ishani of Purba Bardhaman District collected it today

Karate-Do Association of Bengal sponsored West Bengal State Karate Team for KIO National Karate Championship :: Dhrubajit Dutta & Ishani Gupta collected it today from Renshi Debasis Kumar Mondal (KAB Joint Secretary & BKA General Secretary)


With immense pleasure and pride, Bardhaman Karate-Do Association (BKA) feels proud to announce that Dhrubajit Dutta & Ishani Gupta will represent West Bengal in the upcoming “ALL INDIA SUB JUNIOR NATIONAL KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2022” which will be held on 3rd & 4th December, 2022 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. 

They represented Purba Bardhaman District through Bardhaman Karate-Do Association & won Gold in 24th West Bengal State Karate Championship 2022 & selected for the KIO National. Dhrubajit & Ishani will compete in 9 yrs +35 kg Male Kumite & 12 yrs -40 kg Female Kumite respectively in the Sub Jr. National Karate Championship.

We are very much thankful to Hanshi Premjit Sen (KAB President), Hanshi Joydeb Mondal (KAB General Secretary) & Executive Committee Members of Karate-Do Association of Bengal for supporting the players by giving sponsorship of entry fees & journey fare along with a t-shirt & tracksuit.

As Dhrubajit & Ishani failed to collect the sponsorship from KAB at Patipukur Swamiji Sangha on 22nd November, 2022, they collected the sponsorship from Renshi Debasis Kumar Mondal (Joint Secretary of KAB & General Secretary of BKA) today (25th November, 2022) at BKA Office in Purba Bardhaman.

We wish the them, BKA & KAB a grand success in the Championship.
