BKA unveils Tiger Mascot for PBDKC

Meet our New Official Tiger Mascot for Purba Bardhaman District Karate Championships.

The standing position of "YOI" (Japanese) which means "Ready" clearly describes that our mascot is set to show off karate skills on Tatami. Aggressive but Calm nature makes the Tiger more charming.

We are very excited to introduce the Brand New Digital Tiger Mascot Karateka in the Purba Bardhaman District for the PBDKC. The Tiger holds a Black Belt in Karate and excels at both Kata and Kumite.

Tiger is the national animal of India. Royal Bengal Tiger is also famous in West Bengal. The Tiger represents the combination of grace, strength, agility and power.

Thus, BKA decided to create a tiger mascot to mark the start of a new era in Purba Bardhaman District Karate. Although the mascot is yet to be named, the unveiling of the new character will surely inspire district karate athletes and popularize this martial art.

The making of the LOGO of 4th Purba Bardhaman District Karate Championship 2023

Logo Creating Story of the 4th Purba Bardhaman District Karate Championship 2023:

Explanation of the logo design:

According to the general principle of making BKA district championship logos, taking the first letters of each word of the championship name in English language i.e. Purba Bardhaman District Karate Championship (PBDKC) are taken also this time to draw an artistic Logo.
Here PBDKC - these 5 letters are designed as a art.
The 3 letters "P" & "B" are put on a straight line from top to bottom and "D" & "K" (180° rotated) are put on the opposite side of the line. Then "C" is put on the V-shaped end points of inverse "K".
A mixture of Red, Violet, Purple & Magenta color is used in the logo.

3 icons of Kata, Kumite & Team Kata events are also added in logo to depict the categories of the karate competition.

To complete the final logo with the primary information of the competition, the championship name - "4th Purba Bardhaman District Karate Championship 2023", date - "19th March" & venue - "Bardhaman" are written with different fonts, sizes, letter cases & colors on the right side of the logo.
