We are very much delighted to announce that Bardhaman Karate-Do Association has received an annual grant of Rupees 1 Lakh under Khelashree Scheme. 

We are very much grateful to Smt. Mamata Banerjee, Honb'le Chief Minister of West Bengal & the Department of Youth Services & Sports, Government of West Bengal for taking such an initiative to strengthen the sports coaching camps by providing financial assistance, to encourage Students & to promote Sport. 

We convey our heartiest thanks to Hanshi Premjit Sen, President of Karate-Do Association of Bengal & also the Department of Youth Services & Sports of Purba Bardhaman District for their guidance & support. 

The grant was released on 8th February, 2021 but the name of the association on the cheque was incorrect. Today (30th September, 2021) we received the corrected cheque. 

The provided Grant will certainly help us to develop the district karate infrastructure & to train Karatekas to take participate in state/national/international level competitions.
